A walk in the dark , mossy woods

Unschooling from Rewildhood

Yesterday we went for a walk on a local trail that is just breathtakingly gorgeous. The moss, ferns , and other flora give it this place an ethereal vibe. We waked for a about two miles, meandering in the creek from time-to time.

It was a rather pleasant time, none of the kids face planted to badly ( there were some minor face plants as are inevitable) and nobody was trying to kill each other, which made the walk much more enjoyable!

I love unschooling for so many reasons but having the time and space to slowly move through the forest, letting the kids imagination run wild among the trees, is really one of the best parts for of unschooling for our family.
